Attention 3rd, 4th and 5th grade families - Bike Rodeo on September 2!!

Your students now have the option to ride their bikes to school. To take advantage of this new privilege, participation in the Bike Rodeo safety session is required to ensure all riders understand and practice safe biking habits.

The Hinsdale Police Department will lead students through traffic signs, arm signals, safety rules and a quiz. Students who pass both receive an official Bike License registered with the Village of Hinsdale. King Keyser will be onsite for equipment help, including tire pressure checks.

Students must bring their own bike & helmet and are encouraged to wear their backpacks during the course to practice riding with the added weight. E-bikes and other electric devices aren't allowed on the course. 

The Bike Rodeo will begin at 3:05 p.m. on the blacktop by the playground.
