Monroe School PTO

 

Our Purpose & Objectives  

 

The Monroe School Parent Teacher Organization ("PTO") is organized and shall be operated exclusively for charitable and educational purposes to support the education of children at Monroe Elementary School, in Consolidated School District 181 in Hinsdale, Illinois.

 

The Monroe School PTO is the primary organizational contact between parents, teachers and the public and exists to provide supplemental programming to enhance our children’s education and to improve the Monroe School environment in which they work and play.


The PTO aims to secure the highest advantages of education for every child at Monroe School through:


Cooperation:

Bringing home, school, and District 181 into closer relation so that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of students.

 

Enrichment:

Enhancing the Monroe School curriculum and environment through supplemental programs and materials not provided by the District.

 

Advocacy & Liaison:

Developing united efforts between educators and Monroe School families to foster a strong community and support the welfare of all Monroe School students.
