Attention Monroe Families! Tickets for this year's Monroe Family Fun Fest are now available. Join us on Friday, May 17 from 5pm - 8pm for food trucks, lots of entertainment and loads of family fun. This is a community event, open to all, so spread the word to your neighbors, friends and extended family.

Wristbands are $15 if purchased in advance, $20 at the door. They will be distributed in your child's May 10 Friday folder or can be picked up onsite at the event if needed. All sales are final. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be cancelled. Funds raised from wristband sales would be used to offset nonrefundable expenses and support other PTO activities.

Field Day - 5/29 - Volunteers Needed

The end of the school year means Field Day is back! Field Day 2024 is on Wednesday, May 29th - 12:00-2:45.

Mrs. Marcucci needs 30 parent volunteers to help run the stations on Field Day. Parents will be assigned a station the day of the event and students will move with their class from activity to activity. Please arrive at 12:00 to get your station assignment and only sign up if you can stay the whole time.

Walk the Walk 5/19!

Has your family registered for Walk the Walk at the Community House Sunday 5/19? Don't forget to tag your family to Monroe at registration! Each Monroe student will get a magnet on their locker to thank them for participation.

This event is a one-mile Color Walk that celebrates mental and physical wellness, access to mental health services, and ending the stigma associated with discussing mental health with friends, family and community.

Time to put on those hats and bowties...Off to the Races is this Saturday, May 4th at Chicago Highlands Club! Doors open at 5pm; please arrive as close to 5pm as possible.

The Color Walk is a 1 mile walk for all ages, that celebrates mental and physical wellness, access to mental health services, and ending the stigma associated with discussing mental health with friends, family and
community.

The winning D181 school will receive a donation to their PTO and the bragging rights over the Big Blue Shoe Trophy! Hope to see you there!
