Family Fun Fest will be Friday, May 16 from 5-8pm! Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 on May 16.
*Purchase or pick up your wristbands before the Fest on Wednesday, May 14th at pick up. We will have a table at the K-2 door (by the outdoor rock classroom).

Advance ticket sales will close on May 14 @5pm. Pre-purchased wristbands can also be picked up the day of the event.

Library Books Due May 16th

Just a reminder all Library Books are Due on Friday. We will send home notices the following week for books that haven't been returned by the due date. Common places hear of books turning up: under couches, beds, and car seats. Trunks, old suitcases, and backpacks. Even on a garage shelf. Please help your student look for their books. They are competing to be one of the first 5 classes to return their books or pay their fines.

- Supplies will be shipped directly to your home (note: shipping fees apply)

The Parent List - Resources for Parents in our Community

Hinsdale Central hosts a Parent List - an “Angie’s List” type resource where parents can find support if they see changes in their child’s behavior or have other concerns about their child.

We wanted to ensure Monroe parents are aware this resource exists and also provide a link to leave a review of health care providers to keep the resource fresh and viable for other parents.

Book Fair this week!

The Book Fair will be open this Thursday evening during Fine Arts Night from 5:30pm - 7pm. This is a great time to pick up some books for summer reading! Mrs. Wodka has the Summer Reading Lists and Award Lists available.

We'll celebrate One Book One School coming to close too with special Fish in a Tree themed activities - Chess Games, Create Your Own Comic Strip, and Spelling with STEAM.

Can't wait to see you there!

Student Council Spring Donation Drive

The Student Council is thrilled to be doing our Spring Donation Drive, running through May 2nd! 

This year, we’re collecting school supplies to support our sister school, Lincoln Elementary. We're asking for new art supplies, gently used books, and new student supplies to help ensure every student at Lincoln has the tools they need to learn, create, and thrive. Collection bins will be located outside each classroom, and we welcome all contributions—big or small. Your generosity will make a meaningful impact!

As an extra incentive, the classroom that brings in the most donations will win a special STEAM activity with Mrs. Wodka. Thank you for helping us spread kindness and support within our community!
