We are officially now in a fundraising year and we have been working behind the scenes this summer on events to help support our school! Please save the date for Saturday, October 4th, 2025 for our first '25/'26 PTO fundraising event. We are excited to kick off the year with a casual “Fall Football” themed parents-only evening get together. So book your sitters, grab your favorite college sweatshirt and get ready for some fun! More details to follow. We can’t wait to see everyone there!

School Supply Donations wanted

Hello Parents! If you are like us, you are tired of having to store left over school supplies each year. How many Crayola markers does one family really need? This year we will again be providing you with the option to donate a selection of your child's current year school supplies. Beginning Tuesday, May 27th, classrooms will have boxes available to collect unwanted school supplies. These should be items that are gently used such as pencils, markers and crayons, scissors and glue sticks. Even better if they are unused! Teachers will be able to assist with any questions your student may have.

Calling all future Red Devil cheerleaders

Hi Moms! The Hinsdale Central Cheerleaders are once again offering their coveted Future Red Devils cheer camp! The first practice is next Saturday, May 31st 9am-10:30am, with 2 additional practices in August. The performance will take place at the Hinsdale Central Red & White football scrimmage on Friday, August 22nd at 5pm. More details below, as well as a link to sign up and remit payment. Go Devils!

- Amazing events like Bike Rodeo, Fall Movie Night, One Book One School, Picture Day/Locker Photos, Science Fair, Culture Night, Family Fun Fest, Mother and Son Bowling, Sweetheart Dance, Parent Social, Culture Night
- Ongoing favorites like Monroe Cafe, Staff Appreciation, Living Classroom, Monroe Cares
- Things that make our PTO Run smoothly like Grant Requests, Mustang Minutes
- and our 5th Grade Activities like Dare, the Dance and Culmination

Thank you to all the Monroe staff, especially Mrs. Bush and Mrs. Eder for your partnership and support this year. We so appreciate all you do!

Happy Crossing Guard Day - May 21

The deadline for placing orders for 2025/26 school supplies is June 1st. Don’t miss this opportunity to save both money and time. Supplies will be delivered to your child’s classroom for the first day of school. There are two easy options to place your school supply order.
