Monroe Cafe is back! The PTO is excited to offer hot lunch from Home Run Inn, Jimmy John's and Culver's this Fall! Please note, we will not offer hot lunch on the Friday of Halloween.

Monroe Movie Night- Friday, September 19

Join us for Monroe's 2nd annual Movie Night! Mark your calendars for Friday, September 19th, beginning at 5:00pm!

Monroe's movie night is back and will once again be a fun way to spend a beautiful Friday night. This FREE event will include the book fair, music, popcorn, cotton candy and candy concessions. There will also be hot dogs, hamburgers and pizza to purchase - all to be followed by a movie (7pm) on the big screen in the bowl! Stay tuned for which movie will be showing! Please note - all children must have adult supervision.

So, pack up your blankets and beach chairs. We can't wait to see you on 9/19!

Fundraising Event: Save the Date!

We are officially now in a fundraising year and we have been working behind the scenes this summer on events to help support our school! Please save the date for Saturday, October 4th, 2025 5pm - 9pm at Salt Creek Club for our first '25/'26 PTO fundraising event. We are excited to kick off the year with a casual “Fall Football” themed parents-only evening get together. There will be food, drinks, games and raffles! So book your sitters, grab your favorite college sweatshirt and get ready for some fun! We can’t wait to see everyone there!

Spoiler Alert: We will be sharing more exciting fundraising updates and event information at Curriculum Night! You won’t want to miss it!

Bike Rodeo

Attention parents of all 3rd graders as well as any new-to-Monroe 4th or 5th graders!

Mark your calendars for this year's bike rodeo on Thursday, Sept. 4th. Those 3rd graders and new 4th and 5th grade students who want to be able to ride their bike to Monroe School must attend the bike rodeo. It'll meet at 3:05pm right on the blacktop by the playground. Don't forget to bring your child's bike and helmet to school pick up that day!

More details and information will be sent via the room parents next week. Hope to see you there!

Curriculum Night-THIS WEEK THURSDAY!

Evening Author Visit

The District Librarians are hosting Erin Soderberg Downing on September 8th from 4-6pm at HMS. Her book "Controlled Burn" is on our Battle of the Books list.
Seating is limited and will be filled on a first come, first serve basis.
Students must be accompanied by an adult who stays for the duration of the event.
The following titles will be available for you to purchase: What Happened Then, Just Keep
Walking, Controlled Burn, and When Life Gives you Lemons Make Peach Pie.

Monroe Spirit Wear every Friday all year!

We are bringing back Spirit Wear Friday at Monroe! Please wear your Monroe gear or any green or white you can find! We'll have spirit day every Friday this school year. Go Mustangs!!!
