Monroe is kicking off One Book, One School 2026 - our annual PTO program where the entire school community is gifted and reads the same book and participates in fun activities together. It’s a great way to build excitement around reading and share the story as a school.

This week we have two fun at-home activities to get started:

1. Take the Guardian Quiz: 

Find out what kind of Guardian you are: Hand, Heart, or Breath.

2. Create Your Own Guardian: 

We’re building our very own Monroe Island of Magical Guardian Animals! Based on your quiz results, design a guardian creature to add to the school bulletin board. You can use these examples for inspiration or draw your own.  Be sure to include magical features (e.g., wings, armor-like scales, fire or water elements, or any other creative powers).

Bring your finished Guardian drawing to Mrs. Wodka to add to the bulletin board and earn a brag tag for your backpack.
